Pierre Mansour has worked in the wine industry for his entire career, in management and buying positions including such renowned organisations as Berry Brothers & Rudd, The Antique Wine Company and Vinopolis. He currently holds the position of Director of Wine at The Wine Society where he leads the buying and merchandising functions of the business.

Pierre has decades of experience in buying wines from all over the world, and has a highly respected palate. But, more relevantly for this competition, over the last few years he has been instrumental in implementing the growing range of AF drinks at the Wine Society. He has ensured rigorous training and tasting for staff, and made a strong commitment to sourcing non-alc drinks from producers whose vision and values align with those of the Society. 

He is a regular judge for international wine competitions, including Decanter World Wine Awards where he is Co-chair for the Spanish panel.
